The following is a non-profit, fan-based parody. Pulpline and Week in Preview are all owned by…well, no one in particular I suppose. Please support the official release.
Welcome back and keep your pants on. This is going to be a fun week.
The fire roared in the dark of the forest. The flames danced and cast flickering shadows on the trees surrounding the camp. The boar’s corpse turned slowly over the flames, licked by amber tongues as they hissed with each drop of fat that dripped off the meat. Beros sat to the side, rotating the spit and prodding the pig’s flesh occasionally with the tip of an arrow. Each time the arrowhead sank in with greater ease than before, but the hunter remained unsatisfied. When the fire seemed to be getting low he would reach in and sort the hodgepodge of twigs and broken branches by hand, protected by a pair of worn and dirtied golden gloves, red gems glistening on the back of each hand.
We’re BAAAACK, and we’ve got a nice line-up for you this week.
Thank you for being patient with us while the Pulpline Staff took some time to gather their thoughts and pull themselves together. Sometimes life hits you hard, but you come out stronger because of it.
Starting next week we will begin posting again, getting things lined up over the weekend to make sure we are at full strength again.
Expect to see:
– Cooking With Dog on Tuesday
– Scrambled on Wednesday
– Free Money on Thursday, followed by a new The Sea of Great Britain
– Triptych on Friday, and maybe even a new Beyond Infinity
Thanks again and you’ll be hearing from us shortly. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.
The last couple of weeks have been a bit rough on everyone, and while we started to really get into the rhythm of our site, the Editorial staff has made an executive decision.
To help get things back on track, Pulpline will be on a two week hiatus, after which we will return without missed posts and full power. We also will have new stories for you to follow, so this is for the best. We apologize to our regular readers, but we will be back at full power soon.
Thanks for sticking around. We’ll catch you on the flipside.
Last week was a bit of an unexpected period of upheaval: some tragedy as well as some truly miraculous things occurred, so we apologize for the unevenness of last week’s schedule. We also will be missing The Masked Killer‘s entry this week, but rolling with the punches is what it’s all about.
